7.0 TROUBLE DISPLAY
If your system experiences any
problems, “Trouble(s) [TRBL] to
View” will appear o n the LCD
scree n. The Trouble Display will
only display the tro ubles that
occur in the area(s) to wh ich the
keypa d has been assigne d.
Potential troubles ha ve been
sorted into eight groups. Only the tro ubles which are relevant to yo u a re listed and described below. If a trouble that is
not descr ibed or listed below appears, contact your Installer.
We strongly sugge st that if a ny troubles occur, contact your Installer immediate ly to hav e your
syste m serviced.
7.0.1 GROUP 1: SYS TEM
AC Failure
The co ntrol panel has detected a po wer fail ure. Thi s means th at your system is r unning on the ba ckup
battery. If this trouble occurs whe n your e stablishment is not experien cing a power fa ilure, ca ll your
Installer for repairs.
Battery Trou ble
The backup ba ttery is di sconnected, n eeds to b e recharg ed, or replaced.
Bell A bsent
The system has d etected that the bell or siren i s not connected .
7.0.2 GROUP 5: ZONE TAMPER
The zone(s) that was tampere d wi th will be displayed on the LCD screen.
7.0.3 GROUP 6: ZONE LOW BATTERY
If a wir eless device's ba ttery needs to be rep laced, the zone tha t is a ssigned to the d evice will be
displaye d o n th e LCD screen.
7.0.4 GROUP 7: ZONE FAU L T
A wire less device is n o longer communicating with i ts receiver, or a connectio n or CleanMe
TM
trouble is
occurring with your smoke detecto rs.
7.0.5 GROUP 8: CLO CK LOSS
The time and date have been re se t to the d efault. This is the on ly trouble that we recommend that you
co rrec t. “Clock Loss [8] to Set” will appear on the LCD scre en after you press the [
TR BL ] button. Refe r to
section 8 .3 on p age 15 to set the time and date.
7.1 EVENT RECORD DISPLAY
Once you have entered Event Re cord Display mode, you can cha nge the order that the Event Record screens
appea r by pr essin g the [7 ] bu tton. If you alre ady know the number of the event you want to view, pr ess the [
ME M]
button after step 3 a bove, and then enter the e ve nt's number.
The Event Record Display will
record the user- initiated
action s that occurre d in your
system as well as any alarms
or tr oubles (i.e. “Access
Granted”). You will only be
able to view the events that
occurred in the area(s)
assig ned to your User Access
Code.
How do I view the Event Record?
1) E nter your [
ACCESS CODE ].
2) Press the [7] button.
3)If you have access to more than one area, select the area(s) you wish to
view (refer to se ction 2 .3 on page 5).
4)Use the [S
SS
S] and [T
TT
T] butto ns to scroll between the events.
5) Press the [CL EAR ] b utt on to ex it.
How do I view the Trouble Display?
1) Pr ess the [
TR BL ] button when “Trouble(s) [TRBL] to Vie w” appe ars on the
LCD screen. The G roup Hea ding with th e trouble will ap pear o n the screen.
2) P ress th e [S

S] a nd [T
TT
T ] buttons to scroll between the G roups experien cing a
trouble.
3) Pr ess the [
NUMBER] of th e Trouble you wish to view.
